I selected the v-neck but sleeveless- not an option they gave but easy enough. It required a FBA from the size 10. I used an invisible zipper (see below). My Elna/Janome Concealed Zipper Foot made this zipper PERFECT! How did I ever live without it.

Now, this muslin thing kept me out of trouble but what a headache. 3 muslins later and this is what I ended up with. The darts still don't look like they are positioned correctly but it is all a learning experience.

I got the Elna tuned up a few weeks ago and it seems to be leaking oil onto the fabric (arghh).

My first attempt at quilting

This is my first quilting project.  Thanks for everyone who helped me figure out the free motion stitching.

The project is a table runner that is roughly based on a magazine called "Asian Fabrics".  I duplicated the pattern and added my own twist to make it long enough for our table.
